App Introduction

NonBlockingLife is a task management application designed to help users focus on their life's main thread, embodying the principle of "Don't Block Your Life's Main Thread."

1. How We Handle Your Data

NonBlockingLife does not collect, store, or transmit any user personal data.

All your tasks, preferences, and application data are stored exclusively on your device (local storage)
The app supports offline mode and works without internet connection
We do not collect, access, or view any of your data
We have no knowledge of your identity or how you use the app

2. Local Data Storage

All application data (task lists, settings, preferences, etc.) is stored locally on your device using:

Browser LocalStorage
IndexedDB

This data never leaves your device unless you actively choose to export or synchronize it.

3. Optional Google Sheets Synchronization

If you choose to synchronize your data across multiple devices, we offer optional integration with Google Sheets. Importantly:

This feature is completely optional - you can use the app without it
You must set up your own Google Apps Script using your own Google account
The NonBlockingLife app will never know, store, or collect your Google account information
The app only connects to the Google Apps Script execution URL that you provide (which you deploy yourself)
All data exchanges occur directly between you and your Google Sheets - we cannot see any of it
You have complete control over the Google Apps Script and can disable or delete it at any time

4. System Notifications

NonBlockingLife uses system notifications for the following reasons:

To remind you of your current task status (inspired by the Pomodoro Technique)
Notifications run locally on your device
Notification content is not sent to any remote server
You can enable or disable notifications in the app settings

5. Third-Party Services

NonBlockingLife does not use:

Any other third-party data collection services
